William “Art” Waegli passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at 78 years of age After retiring from mechanics Art worked at Speidell Monuments and helped local farmers with harvest. He enjoyed golfing, gardening, playing with his dogs and socializing with friends. He is survived by his wife Lyn, his sons Jay (Becky) Waegli and Scott (Alisha) both of Lincoln. Lyn's children Mike Kimmer, Hastings, Kelley Kimmer-Keiser, Yakima, Washington and Steve (Monique) Kimmer, Rohnert Park, CA as well as multiple grandchildren; his brothers Francis, Jim and Ed jr. He was proceeded in death by his parents Ed and Eula as well as brothers David and Gary. His Celebration of Life will be Sunday, September 13, 2026, from 2-4 p.m. at the Sutton American Legion in Sutton. Murray Wilson Funeral Directing is in charge of the arrangements.
